Level |
A MEDACS with TFML module can combine different level sensors inputs to provide vessel contents linearisation as well as Hi/Lo override and system fault alarm. |
|
Level |
Continuous level measurement in vessel containing solids can cause problems due to angles off repose from filling cycles. |
|
Level |
Continuous level measurement in process vessels can call for high accuracy linearisation.

Flow & Level |
A level controller provides (4 to 20) mA proportional to level, which is then spilt into two (4 to 20) mA spans, one proportional to level, the second proportional to head at the overflow point. Should the pumps be unable to clear the level, it overflows to storm via a V notch weir, whereby the flow is monitored by span 2 and converted to flow by the onboard flow law. This data can then be recorded.

Level |
A MEDACS unit can field power a Radar gauge mounted in the lift station and provide the switching of the contactors for the pumps. Normally, the duty pump will lower the level, but in storm conditions, the back up pump may be called to assist. After each pump down cycle, a TFML module rotates the duty assignment to ensure both pumps remain active and with even running hours.

Density, Level & Temperature |
Additional pressure inputs, used to calculate hydrostatic head, are further conditioned with level to provide density. TFML functions provide all the linearisation and mathematical functions. All units are bussed together by the bus jumper, with output to MODICON BM85S. |
