The Style 5 fabricated flanged thermowell is designed for light to medium process conditions and is manufactured from tube or pipe and closed at the tip by a welded cap.
The Style 5 fabricated flanged thermowell features a parallel stem profile and has wide variety of flange sizes and ratings available including RF, FF and RTJ configurations.
This style of thermowell is available with a seal welded flange. The instrument connection can be specified with a BSPP, BSPT or NPT thread which allows for easy installation of an RTD or Thermocouple temperature sensor. Our range of temperature sensors can be seen here and here.

It is available in a wide selection of materials including 316 stainless steel, Alloy C276 (Hastelloy®), Alloy 400 (Monel®) and Alloy 600 (Inconel®).
There are a number of optional certification and testing services available including 3.1 material certificates to ensure full traceability, pressure testing and positive material identification (PMI).
