Digital panel meter for mA or voltage process signals

The DM3420 is a digital panel meter for process signals and accepts voltage or mA signal inputs and displays the process value on a high efficiency LED display.  The mA input can power a loop as well as accept an existing loop.

The front panel is sealed to IP65 and the case has a moulded in rubber gasket enabling it to seal to the panel maintaining the IP65 rating, ideal for installing it in ‘dusty’ areas or where low pressure jets of water are used to clean down equipment. The product is programmed using the three push buttons on the front panel where the user is guided through the configuration process.

The highly innovative case design features option “Pods” which can be plugged in without dismantling or re-calibration. These provide optional outputs of programmable current (POD-03) and 2 x trip relays for alarm points (POD-02).

The POD-03 mA output can accept both active and passive mA signals while the POD-02 output option has 2 change over relays with a common wiper. They can switch 250vac @ 5A or 30Vdc @ 5A

They can be fitted as follows

• POD-03 + POD-02
• POD-02 + POD-02
• POD-03
• POD-02

The output options can be scaled over any part of the input range and provide a signal for equipment further in the process.

As with all LED display products, mounting in direct sunlight is not recommended as the display can be difficult to read.
