The SEM1600VI is a powered isolator / conditioner that accepts any voltage signal between (-50 to 50) V dc or any current signal between (-50 to 50) mA. The output stage offers either voltage, bipolar voltage or current re-transmission signals.

In mA mode, it can accept active or passive mA signals on both the input and output. For the user this means it can power loop powered transducers from the product as well as accepting and existing loop.

In addition, there is a user linearisation feature to allow the output to be non linear.  For example, a pressure transducer can be connected monitoring the level in a tank.  The SEM1600VI can be linearised to follow the shape of the tank.

Outputs of mA, voltage or bipolar voltage are available. These can be scaled over any part of the input signal. An output alignment feature is also available allowing the user to align the actual input signal with a user set output signal.

For ease of use, a high efficiency switch mode power supply is fitted as standard and does not require any adjustment between ac or dc applications. Operating voltages are (10 to 48) V dc and (10 to 32) V ac.
