The “SCH4X + DM650XLP monitoring system” is intended for fixed installation in explosive gas environments classified as IECEx Zone 0 and ATEX / UKEX Category 1G. The system is contains four aspects:
1. SCH4X Connection Head enclosure – Considered in this approval.
2. DM650XLP 4-20 mA signal display – Considered in this approval.
3. A Signal transmitter – Covered by another approval.
4. Sensor element such as RTD, thermocouple – Considered simple apparatus (does not require approval).
