ATEX Exia or ExD Heavy duty temperature monitoring system

The SCH60X (SCH60X-X-X-X-X) is an Exia or Exd approved system comprised of a number of elements:

The SCH60X terminal head is the main housing for the system and is available in aluminium or stainless steel.

The second element is a temperature transmitter.  All of our ATEX approved temperature transmitters can be used with the Exia or ExD version. The Exd version can also accept non approved products as long as they conform to the conditions of use.

For Exia applications, the third element is optional so can be supplied with or without a simple apparatus temperature probe. Pt100, thermocouple, resistance or potentiometer sensors can all be used together with the Exia version.

The Exd version will accept separately Exd approved glands, probes or blanking plugs (check conditions of use).  Send us your requirements to check which products can be fitted inside the ExD housing.
