The SEM320 is a HART (Generic device) universal field temperature transmitter with display. The device accepts RTD, Thermocouple, Potentiometer or millivolt sensors. Then, it converts input from these sensors to (4 to 20) mA or operates in HART multidrop mode, ensuring flexible functionality for diverse applications.
Approved to UKEX, ATEX and IECEx standards and supplied in our SCH60X temperature monitoring system, it ensures safety and compliance in hazardous areas.
With a rotational five-digit display for the process value, this HART temperature transmitter has a 5-digit display for messaging and a bar graph showing % of mA output.
SENSOR-REFERENCING
The SEM320 sensor-referencing, via the Windows based USBSpeedlink software, allows for close matching to a known reference sensor, eliminating possible sensor errors. This is an important feature for anyone using a HART field temperature transmitter in critical settings.
USER-CALIBRATION
In addition to sensor-referencing, current output trimming is possible via the USB and HART commands. This means precision configuration for your HART temperature transmitter in the field.
CUSTOM LINEARISATION

SENSOR BURN-OUT DETECTION
SEM320 output will automatically go to upscale, downscale or pre-set value if the sensor is open circuit. In short, the burn-out detection enhances reliability when utilising this HART field temperature transmitter.
